Ferdinand Magellan
Ferdinand Magellan’s nationality was Portuguese and he was born in 1480 and died in year 1521.Also he was educated at the port of Portugal. After that he became sea captain and become famous because he had 251 men on their first voyage around the world. Plus his whole career was an explorer and a navigator. His timeline begins at 1480 he was born in Sarbrosa in Villa Real. Then in 1505 Ferdinand Magellan joined the expedition of Fransisco d’Almedo to India. After that in 1512, Magellan took part in the Portuguese expedition to Morocco. Then in, 1521 Magellan reached the middle of the equator. Then in, 1522, September 6 the Victoria reached Senaclar de Barromeda in Spain with only eighteen survivors. Plus in 1522 the momentous voyage of Ferdinand Magellan had taken nearly 3 years and many.
Vasco Da Gama
I n 1460, Vasco Da Gama was born in Sines, Portugal he came from a noble Portuguese family and his father was a distinguished soldier. Gama was ell educated and was taught several languages Physics, geometry, mathematics, and astronomy. In 1497, Gama reached the coast of Natal. Then in 1498, (January) Gama reached the mouth of Zambezi. They were attacked by Arabs. On 1499, Gama returns to (Portugal) with pride. After that in 1502, King Manuel I of Portugal sends Gama on another expedition to India. In 1503, Gama returns to Portugal sends Gama returns to Portugal. Then in 1519, the title of “Court” is bestowed on Vasco Da Gama .1524: King John III sends Gama.
Bartolomue Dias
